This painting was inspired by a photo I took while on a trip to California to visit our son.  As a kid, I enjoyed the 1965 novelty song by Little Jimmy Dickens, “May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose”.  After seeing my first Bird of Paradise, I hoped one would never fly up my nose!                                                                        1 Thessalonians 5:15 reads “Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to one another and to everyone.”
