Artist Bonnie Potts Richardson's Bio

Bonnie Potts Richardson is a contemporary oil painter of nature. A love and appreciation for the outdoors influences her art as well as a deep spiritual connection with God.  Spending summers during her childhood and adolescence in Utah’s Uintah Mountains, living in Deep East Texas Piney woods as an adult, and now creating a bird sanctuary on her and her husband’s 5-acre lake in Van, Texas, results in a desire within her to paint nature. Her spiritual walk with God taught her how to appreciate beauty found in the ordinary.

Bonnie holds a BFA in Art Education from Stephen F Austin University in Texas; taught art in Intermediate, Junior High and High School, as well as, in Continuing Education Programs for Adults for Angelina Junior College.

She has taken workshops from Lee Merriweather and Vie Dunn: exhibited in Main Street Gallery in Tyler, Texas and in Tyler County Art League, Woodville, Texas.
